it started with a generous couple... a donation...a roof on a school.

then an invitation, "come see what your generosity has become"

    "the first two days that I was there, I only wanted to go home" said mike deriso, "I was intimidated by their living conditions, but after spending time with the kids and the people, I just wanted to get involved."

    it wasn't long before others of us at the richmond vineyard caught the passion that the deriso's have for what the spirit of God is doing in haiti.  and having our hearts broken over the desperate need that the people of haiti suffer,  we have committed ourselves to partnering with the people of haiti, specifically the community of Ouanaminthe. they suffer from not having the basic needs that we take for granted, clean water, food, sanitary living conditions, medicine, much less electricity and indoor plumbing.
